Strangers in Gotham

Strangers In Gotham is a rock/pop covers band based in the
Illawarra. The band has been in existence for about couple of years and in that time
has come to be known for quality live entertainment. The band consists of Joshua
Marsden (lead vocals/acoustic guitar), Danny Hol (guitar/ backing vocals), Garry
Hol (bass/ backing vocals) and Brendan Langley (drums. All four members have
performed in bands and venues semi professionally for about 10 years. There is a wide musical influence within the
band, some examples being Aussie Rock (ACDC, Powderfinger), Seattle grunge
(Pearl Jam, Soundgarden), Motown and Soul (Smokey Robinson, Marvin Gaye) and
Radio Rock (Matchbox 20 and U2). All these styles and more are performed by
Strangers In Gotham. In the past 2 years
Strangers In Gotham have performed at various venues in the Illawarra, and have
always been asked back to play again, a clear sign of entertainment
satisfaction. The
band has also been involved in a number of fundraisers for charity,
including a fundraiser with ABC commentator Kerry O’Keefe. Apart from this the band has also performed at presentations, school
formals, weddings and parties. The range of venues, audiences and genres clearly
shows the variety and quality of music that is a feature of a Strangers In Gotham gig.
